UBI Day 8 11/19/08
Worked on frame alignment and seat stays today. I've heard it before about seat stays being the toughest part of the frame to build and it's 100% true. Went to the movies last night and saw Quantum of Solstice. I highly recommend watching something else. That movie sucked for a James Bond flick. I should have watched Role Models. It was a pretty gloomy day today, I guess the storm is coming. Actually it's supposed to rain hard tomorrow. Went to the co-op for lunch and had some really good vegan cauliflower soup. I ate it so fast I forgot to document it...sorry about that. On the way back to school I passed APD. Seriously wtf is going on? I have yet to see the police station open. More clouds when I left class and it's getting cold. Stopped at the co-op for some apples. Washington has the best apples in the world. I eat about two a day. Here in Ashland they are the size of softballs and the organic fujis go for 94 cents a pound. The variety is amazing, I think I saw 15 different kinds. If you haven't tried a honey crisp apple, you're missing out. Decided to go big for dinner and ordered food from Mihama, the Japanese restaurant with a collection of godzilla toys. I ordered a spicy chicken plate with salad and a hamburger. You know I can hold it down with the best of them, but I just finished eating and I'm at Jaba the Hut status...such a glut. Oh yeah, don't do meth. If you and nine of your friends try meth, 6 will become addicted and so on...
